In collaboration with sound artist Carolene Siegers, artist Andrei Loginov developed a concept for visualizing music. The starting point was the question of how musical movement could be translated into an image. From this emerged the idea of making the ballistics of the violin bow visible.
The project uses musical fragments from four centuries, performed by Lisa Batiashvili and Sara Ferrández, and recorded by Carolene Siegers. The performances were simultaneously captured with several cameras to record the light and movement of the violin bow in three dimensions.
From these recordings arise three-dimensional light sculptures of music, visualized through lenticular photography. This technique layers multiple photographic perspectives behind a lenticular lens, creating the illusion of depth and movement as the viewer changes position.
For the installation, a series of light boxes measuring 150 × 120 × 6 cm was realized, each featuring lenticular photography and equipped with a sound projector that plays the corresponding audio recording. Visitors can view the light boxes while simultaneously hearing the sound through motion-responsive sound projectors suspended above them.

The filming was done simultaneously with the violin playing, allowing us to capture the precise movements inherent in the music and the musician's unique performance. Several digitally synchronized cameras, specially prepared for this project, were used for the recording.
